It started like any other day for a cricket fan on a pilgrimage to the home of cricket - trepidation, anticipation but mostly excitement. Today we watch our heroes play but this time it feels so real as we have such a close connection - a debutant, a comeback, the Aussie selector on duty and a Tassie Captain - the Cricket Gods are smiling.

TUCC names its touring party for the upcoming Cricket Australia series against Pakistan. Tim Paine makes his Test Match debut for Australia on Tuesday 13th July and to supplement the tour TUCC has named its own touring party.

The TUCC AGM was held on Wednesday 7th July at the TUCC Clubrooms. The Annual report was presented, there were some constitutional changes made and office bearers were elected.

The TUCC 2nd grade team has defeated North Hobart in comprehensive fashion to win the TCA 2nd Grade Premiership for 2009-10.
