State Squads finalised for 2004/2005 Season.

State Squad

Four University Lions' players have been named in the winter squad for the Tasmanian Tigers - Rhett Lockyear (senior contracted player), Tim Paine (rookie contracted player), Graeme Cunningham and Ben Hilfenhaus (non-contracted members).

Supplementary Squads

Three of our players have been named in the supplementary squads. Josh Bean and Heath Barwin are in the spin bowling squad and Tim Paine is in the wicket keeping squad.

The spin bowlers have been identified as having the ability to play at a higher level and they will receive specialist one-to-one coaching during the season from Ray Bright, Terry Jenner and the T.C.A. coaching staff. There may be occasions when these players train with the full Tigers' squad.

We wish them all the best during pre-season training and trust that their experiences will result in improvements in their game.
