A Report of the U.C.C. Match with Fleet.

The Fleet and the University at Cricket -
A cricket match between teams chosen from the officers of the Australian Squadron and members of the University of Tasmania was played on Tuesday on the upper ground, Queen's Domain.

About 250 spectators were present including Rear-Admiral Pearson, Mrs Pearson, the Hon. Ismay Preston and Miss McKinnon. The Admiral's party were received by the Rev. George Clarke, Chancellor of the University.

The match was won on the first innings by the Fleet, who made 153 runs as against the University's 75.

Afternoon tea was served by a committee of ladies.
