Meet the Lions Sponsors (#1) - The Customs House Hotel.
The Tasmania University Cricket Cub are pleased to announce that the Customs House Hotel will continue to sponsor the Club this season. We have enjoyed a strong partnership with Customs House for many seasons now and their ongoing support has helped the Club remain a powerhouse club in the Tasmanian Cricket Association competition.
We encourage all members, former players and administrators, parents of current players and supporters to make their next 'night out' at the Customs House Hotel. Make a group booking for a meal with friends or business associates and have a great night out. The Committee of the Club are always happy to convene their meetings in the "Lion's Den" at the Customs House - the temperature during the winter months and food (always) ensures a quorum and even guests!
If you're a visitor to Hobart and either looking for somewhere to stay (all rooms have ensuite bathrooms and retain many features of the original sandstone building) or just a very good meal then you need look no further. Right on the waterfront at Constitution Dock (and only a block from Hobart's CBD) the recently re-furbished Customs House is definitely a "must see".
The Customs House Hotel is a heritage listed waterfront hotel with a proud history. It has always been a common meeting spot for locals and travellers alike and continues to be so today. Perhaps the award winning seafood restaurant is the attraction. Maybe it's the thirteen beers on tap or the great live entertainment in the lively front bar. Visit the Customs House and enjoy outside dining right opposite the water!
Once again the Tasmania University Cricket Cub thank Paul and Karen Jubb from Customs House for their continued support of the Club and we encourage you all to repay their loyalty to the Club by giving them your patronage.
