Razor laid low by back injury.

Our newly appointed Assistant Coach, Craig Harwood has sustained a back injury and will not be able to continue in his role as Assistant Coach.


Craig, pictured here in a younger but dubiously fitter era, has had serious back problems in recent years and this latest injury involves a couple of bulging discs in the vertebrate. The condition requires 4 to 6 weeks of rest and close monitoring and Craig thought it was in the best interests of the club that he resign from his official role as Assistant Coach and ‘pull up stumps’ on his playing career.

However, Craig has been quick to point out that his return to the club, at the start of the pre-season training programme after many years away from the club, has provided him with a renewed enthusiasm for the club and its players and he is very hopeful of returning to the club in a few weeks to take up a mentoring/coaching role around the club.


We wish Craig a speedy recovery and we look forward to seeing him back at the club very soon.
