The TUCC enter the world of the 'Fantasy League'.

After much pressure from within the playing members of the club the Lions are about to enter the 'Fantasy League' community!

If you don't know what a 'Fantasy League' is then we'd suspect you've been hibernating for a few years too many. This one will involve all the players of the Lions and will include the top four grades: First, Second, Third and Under 17's.

These things are impossible to administer without some sort of software or more hours in the week than most of us have! Consequently we'll be using an add-on to a stats programme we've been using for a while; the rules have been carefully considered over the last two days utilising available options!

We're hoping to get full scorecards for every game in the relevant grades as soon as possible after a match and have the League updated by the following Thursday. It will invariably fail on occasions so apologies in advance!

The Rules and Entry Form are available now. The latter won't be of much use as yet as the player list will be finalised some time next week (after Registration Day) when it will be available at the clubrooms and also added to this page of the website.

We hope it will be a bit of fun around the club and that no offence will be taken by the guys and their ratings! No member of the coaching staff has been involved in those ratings - the Committee has decided to put all the blame on the (non-playing) webmaster!

And now, the player list. Any former player, supporter etc. who wishes to join in the fun can submit their team(s) by emailing the Fantasy League co-ordinator and either pay at the club or send a cheque. Such team(s) will be valid from their receipt but deleted if no payment is received within three weeks!

To be fair to all who enter there will be an on-going list of injuries, holidays, rep. commitments and so on - all to the best of our knowledge. Updates will be accessible from the new (last) link on the front page of the website!
