Where to next for Tim and Ben?

And will we ever see them again one could ask?

Following their inclusion in the Centre of Excellence squad over the cooler Tasmanian months Tim Paine and Ben Hilfenhaus are about to wing their way to South Africa and Zimbabwe as members of the Academy's tour to the African continent. The four week tour comprises a four day game and many one day matches, including some against Kenya, in Johannesburg, Nairobi and Harare.

We've widely recorded Tim's travels in the past (mainly to the sub-continent, where he has acquired a taste for curries) but for Hilfy this is his first trip overseas in a cricketing capacity. We presume that he did not pack his brick-laying trowel along with his pads and may never need to use one again!

But, that's not the end of Ben's travels. He has also been included in the initial 30 man Australian squad for the Champions Trophy! Following on from his inclusion in the Australia 'A' team it would appear that Hilfy is now well within sight of making his International debut at some point soon.

The TUCC regrets that two of their sons will probably play little part of the forthcoming season's games, but will 'chip in' for the cost of the jumbo sized Aussie passport! In the vernacular of a rugby commentator - "Go you good things".

If we can find any link to the tour games we'll add it.
