‘Suspect Action’ Jackson flies Uni colours at Lords.
Richard Jackson, an English player who spent a season playing for Uni in 1998/99, recently sent the club a letter which detailed what has happened in his life in the last decade. He also sent a photo which shows the Uni colours proudly (?) on display at Lords :-

A young Richard and a young George Campbell.
Hi,
It’s been a while. My team got to the national club final at Lords a couple of months ago - 11th September, 2007, Cockspur National Club final (45 overs) played between Bromley C.C. (Kent) and Kibworth C.C. (Leicester).
I have enclosed a photo of a pair of TUCC Aussie Rules socks draped over the balcony which I thought might be good banter for your clubrooms.

Lords - the socks.
Hopefully, you can find a home for this photo somewhere. I thought it was quite thoughtful of me! And I can't believe I still have the socks!!
I am now playing for Kibworth in Leicestershire. I moved up to Leicester from Sussex a year and a half ago to become a police officer and am absolutely loving it. After I left Tassie I went to Uni for three years in Leicester and then returned to Sussex for 3 years before coming up here. Obviously lots more has gone on but I’ve tried to keep it short. I’m not married or engaged either and no kids that I am aware of....
It was October 1998 when I came to Taz, nearly a decade now. If you've heard of 'facebook' on the internet, you'll find me under Richard Neville Jackson.
I see a few of the lads have progressed in to the Tassie first team.
Hope this finds you well. Good luck to the Lions in 2007/2008.
Over and out.
Jacko
