The University of Tasmania Cricket Club are pleased to announce Sam Truloff will join the club as Senior Development Coach for the upcoming season.
Playing for the Western Suburbs District Club in Queensland Premier Cricket last season, Sam scored 1305 First Grade runs at an average of 52, which included four centuries with a highest score of 192. Sam has played 10 first-class matches for the Queensland Bulls and represented Australia at Under 19’s level.
Sam will work closely with club coaches and provide advice to players across junior, youth and senior male and female programs with a focus on skill enhancement and developing players to be the best they can be and achieve goals to play at higher levels.
“I’m really excited to join the University Cricket Club who have been very supportive to me and my girlfriend during our move from Queensland. I’m really excited to work alongside our quality coaches and all of the club volunteers.
I can’t wait to get underway, and I’m looking forward to a very successful year as a playing and coaching group" Sam said
High Performance Manager Ben Harrison said "I am thrilled to be able to announce to the playing group Sam's inclusion as an important addition to the coaching group and cricket program. Damien Wright and I were very pleased that a player of Sam's calibre was so keen to take on a coaching role to help lead and develop an exciting group of improving players across the club"
Stay tuned for further coaching announcements and club news in the coming weeks.
