(DAY 1). Due to ground conditions the first day of this game was cancelled. This game was played on 26th. October only. (DAY 2). In our season opener, our opening attack broke through early to have Clarence struggling at 2-13. Clarence consolidated, but our accurate attack and good fielding, kept the score to a modest 107 off their 40 overs. 
Uni crashed early to be 2-0 after 4 balls, and not much better later at 4-26. However a great partnership between Patrick Bigg and Tom Ritchie of 72 steadied the innings. In particular, their shot selection was excellent and and their running between wickets aggressive. We stumbled a little towards the end with a couple of quick wickets, but the cool head of Ben Allen saw the Uni boys home for their first win of the season.
