(Day 1). No play. (Day 2). Clarence turned up and it wasn’t too wet today so play started on time. The game got underway with Collidge wining the toss and electing to bat. The Yarrow brothers went out to open with Kieran falling for 1 in the 3rd over. Next in was Julian who departed on 2 due to a careless run out. Then in came Collidge and he and Yarrow set about steadying the ship until Yarrow departed for 11 with the score on 35. Then in came Foggy who departed on 2. Next out was Collidge trying to put some runs on the board. He was out for 21 then Hortle fell next ball and it went down hill from there with Uni being dismissed for 63. Clarence got the runs in the 1st 10 overs but made us stay till the end and we got absolutely thrashed and it is best not to mention anyone’s bowling. Clarence were certainly helped by the inclusion of some of their TCA team. So we got belted but we will bounce back next match. |
