Report (by John Perry):

Good day guys

What an effort, So damn close!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a shortly tonight

As you all know Kinborough made 182 which I thought was a safe total for us to achieve considering the condition of our ball we had to bowl with, soaking wet

Our batsmen went in confidently and looked comfortable early until Ellis was out a bit to early. Ross & Will Robbo put on a solid 60 partnership to keep us close to 4 runs an over. With Ross , Will and Fenna all out for only another 13 runs this slowed us up a little, until Captain Hugh heard our calling of 80 runs off 10 overs and Hugh looked as if he was going to make short work of those runs until a good catch put a stop to that.

Morro kept his cool and with Sammy Boxall they kept us on target . Morro hit out in the 37th over and this brought Courtney to the crease and this was the best Courtis has looked, it looked as if he was going to do it for us, but with a tight yorker and still needing runs we saw coutney bowled.

Josh Archer came in with with needing 6 runs of 2 balls and with a 2 of the first we needed a big four from Yoda and it did look like he had done it but just fell short and we know the rest .It was a Bloody good effort to get where we did, well done guys.

Thanks to all you guys who contributed throughout the year, I have enjoyed the wins, the close games, but not so much the losses, but we will move on from those. I would like to thank you guys again for a great season of cricket and I will see you soon

Many Regards
