(Day 1). Nice day to start with, we won the toss, a good one to win with only ten players, with great thought decided to bat first with Rob Jubb & Ellis P opening. It looked as if they were a little shakey at first but settled to get us of to a 47 run partnership for the fisrt wicket. Things only got better as the day went on with some rewarding individaul efforts & a great team effort overall ![]() Mark Fenton relaxes after his innings (Day 2). What a good start to the beginning of the season. Our first win under some difficult circumsances, the first week batting with ten then the second week only fielding with ten to pull off a great win. We were 8/388 and then we bowled out Glenorchy for 257 in 50 overs. Our 2nd innings - 6/129 of 23 overs. Well done Chris Morrison for his 100* and to follow up with another 45 after taking 3/41 off 12overs. Thanks to Joe Arnold and Jack Tronson for filling in today for us. Top score for Glenorchy was 66. He was a tough guy to get out , but we managed when we finished filling in the sundries column! According to Trono we think we made the Guinness Book of records. Well done to all the players for a well deserved win |
