Good day guys, bit of bad luck, can`t win them all. Thanks to Chook & Couta Jubb for being on the field today, great catch Kev to end the days play for us, also great catches to Mataise & Chris Morrison in the field today well done. Just while I am thanking every one I better not forget Peter Robinson for letting me bond with him last week on the grass. Well what a game, to me we where of to a fairly good start again with Will & Ellis starting to perform well as a opening pair till a slight miss understanding saw both guys up one end. Keg next gave us another partnership with will till Keg was caught, Unlucky for Ross he was out early who normally provides us with some healthy runs, same as for Chris M. With that little slide out of the way M Fenton provided a much needed 54 to give us something to defend. Well Mataise T who came in at number 7 quickly came of muttering I suppose I`ll be back at number 11 again after that performance, Sam Boxall gave us a bit more hope with a lovely 6 over the ropes, with out a good partnership happening down the order and only 10 batsman we where all out for 168. Now this is just far too much writing for me to carry on with, so this is the short version of the bowling , Clarence were 44 overs for 44 runs and just wore us into the ground. Well done Keg we did what we could and by the end of the year it will be just right. Thanks JP |
