Well another game closer to the finals with this win against Sth Hbt Sandy Bay, but it was a bit of a slog with the oppoition hanging in there till nearly five Thirty. With only a relative small total to defend of 188 I thought it was going to be tough to win, With out the ball coming onto our guys with ther slowish bowling most of our guys found out that it is still quite easy to get out. With a active warm up the guys went into the field very enthusiastic and we had them for 4-39-11, The SH SB batsmen dug in and they were not scoring at any rate but it defintly look as if they were going to bat the day out and make it a draw with the last few batsman. With some planning now we can still put a competative side together for the finals and make sure we are team to be respected. |
