Report : (by John Perry)
(Day 1).
Well what a turn around, we thought we were going to have a busy day after what happened on Saturday, but with a gutsy knock by Morro after a bad knock on the side of his knee & having to retire hurt untill one Dr JP was able to patch him up and then go back out to put on his total of 35, well done Morro.
Sam Boxtrain made a start with his 27 but wasn't happy the way he batted,
Fenna Fenton made a good start and was neck & neck with Ellis to see who was going to get there fifty first but holed out on 40, he was probably personally disappointed but he said he had a good time.
Ellis P hung around and with 2 lives around his 50 mark, saw a few guys come and go but with great detirmination moved on to reach his ton. With 4 hrs of batting & with the pressure off he went to pull one & holed out at square leg
Tom Ritchie came to the crease and played a very promising & more & more confidant innings to reach his 50 just before stumps, Jackson Swain played a patient innings for his 7 to help Tom achieve this, well done Jacko.
Thanks to Simon Crane & Daddy Crane for their effort today to come down from New Norfolk to fill our 11th spot
