Merry Christmas guys, just in case I havent mentioned it. A good win guys to keep us in second place on the ladder (I hope). Well done Sammy Boxtrain on your 4 wickets We decided to turn the batting upside down today against New Town to give some guys a bat and it proved to be a good exercise for me anyway because it gave all of us a chance to see our bottom order batsmen in action. Our previous games this season havent given these guys much of a chance to have a go. Well done Tom Ritchie on his 21* who was put down early, but then went on to be there at the end. Tom saw a few guys come & go for not many runs but James Wilkinson came in with some power hitting for his 23 runs before missing one on the stumps. Well done again & I will see you guys in the New Year where we take on Clarance in a 2 day game played on the Sat & Sun early Jan.
