This Tuesday night the boys attended with great spirits. The night was glorious and they were all keen to get in there to play James Higginbottom was our Captain this week. With excitement, he won the coin toss and picked to bat first All the boys once again showed great improvement in batting bowling and fielding. Andonis Pavlides got hit on the Helmet while batting and continued to win runs (tough little guy) Tommy Cooper was hit in the arm while fielding, and with a short break came back on the field to continue a well played game (that is true team spirit) Toby D-Silby got a sore leg while batting and retired for the rest of game. Encouraging his team mates from the side line (see you next week mate) Jack Bilson while fielding from the outfield, threw a fantastic ball to the wickets, resulting in getting the batsman out (WELL DONE) A big thanks to the parents that always turn up to the game to help and encourage the team. |
