The TCA team had a good win against a strong and well drilled Lindisfarne team at Geislton Bay last Sunday. 1 st Innings.. Lindisfarne batted and scored 168 off 51 overs all out. After Uni had them 8 / 96 their tail wagged . Uni best bowling figures were ; Josh Kemp 4 / 22 off 8 overs. and Cam Jeffrey with some good leg spin snared 5 / 53. In reply University was all out for 193, after batting patiently all day. Ben Read scored a very good 93 , before being caught in the outfield, along with good supporting roles from Cam Jeffrey 17, Charles Haward 17 and Ben Altonen guiding us home with 19 not out. Well done to the whole team... it was a good win against strong opposition. Congratulations also to Nick Edwards who slotted into the Youth League team this week and guided them home with a marvellous century.. Two wins the the Under 15 `s ... |
