Jack Bilson (18) and James Maddock (9) opened well and put together a solid opening stand with both retiring after 30 minutes. Jonny Cooper (19) and Liam O'Donovan (8) continued to add runs and retired after 30 minutes. The first wicket was lost at 67, and then wickets fell steadily to 90. Tom Finlayson (8) looked to put a few runs to the total and Danny Mount finished the innings for University well. University bowled well and kept the sundries under control. Jonny Cooper took the first wicket at 6 runs, but unfortunately wickets then became hard to come by and North Hobart White were able to get the score to 50 before Danny Mount took two wickets to slow up the run rate. Sam Rhodes and Jack Bilson took the next two wickets with both being catches taken by Tom Finlayson. A very close game to finish the season with only 6 runs difference. The boys played very well and I am sure everyone would agree that all have improved as the season progressed with each having a game to remember by taking a wicket or two or scoring a few runs.
