Thomastown United Cricket Club is a community cricket club based at Thomastown East Reserve in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

Building on decades of cricket played through church-based competitions, including the Northern Combined Churches Cricket Association, the club was formally established in 1973 and initially competed in the Northern District Cricket Association.

From its earliest years, Thomastown United sought to provide an inclusive home for cricketers from Thomastown and surrounding communities. The club developed strong senior and junior programs before joining the Diamond Valley Cricket Association in the late 1980s.

Our Home

Thomastown East Reserve includes two cricket ovals, clubrooms and training facilities. The pavilion and training facilities underwent major renovations in 2009–10 and continue to provide a home for our players, families, volunteers and supporters.

Our Club Today

Thomastown United celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2023.

Today, the club provides opportunities to participate in junior, girls’, senior and veterans’ cricket. We welcome players with different abilities, ambitions and levels of experience—from those trying cricket for the first time to players seeking to compete at higher levels.

We are committed to creating a club in which people can enjoy cricket, build friendships, develop their abilities and feel that they belong.
