Girls Cricket
Thomastown United Cricket Club is proud to provide a welcoming and growing cricket program specifically for girls.
Whether your daughter is completely new to cricket or already has playing experience, she will find an encouraging environment in which she can develop her skills, make friends and enjoy being part of a team.
A Place for Every Girl
Our girls’ program welcomes players with different levels of ability and experience. Girls can develop their cricket through dedicated coaching and the opportunity to play in girls’ teams.
We believe every girl should have the opportunity to participate, improve and reach her potential. Our program places equal importance on cricket skills, confidence, teamwork, enjoyment and belonging.
Girls who want additional playing opportunities may also be able to participate in appropriate mixed junior teams.
Training and Matches
Girls’ training is held at Thomastown East Reserve on Tuesdays from 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm.
Girls’ matches are played on Wednesday evenings from 5.00 pm to 7.40 pm at Thomastown East Reserve or at other clubs in the Diamond Valley Cricket Association.
Exact match times may vary slightly according to the competition fixture.
Supporting Girls On and Off the Field
Our girls’ program is about more than cricket. We want girls to feel valued within the club, develop confidence and leadership, and build lasting connections with teammates, coaches and the wider cricket community.
Our club is committed to gender equality and to continually improving the experiences of girls and women throughout community sport.
